One activity that I usually do and feel it wastes my time is playing video games. Specifically, I tend to spend a lot of time on mobile games, such as “Clash of Clans” or “PUBG Mobile.”
I typically play these games in the evenings, after I finish my homework and other responsibilities. Sometimes, I also find myself playing during the weekends or even late at night when I should be sleeping.
The reason I play these games is because they are quite engaging and addictive. They offer a sense of accomplishment when I complete a level or achieve a new high score. Additionally, these games provide a way to connect with friends and other players around the world, which makes them even more appealing.
However, I realize that playing video games is a huge waste of time for several reasons. First, it often leads to procrastination. Instead of doing something productive, like studying or exercising, I end up spending hours glued to my phone screen. Second, it affects my sleep schedule. Staying up late to play games results in lack of sleep, which makes me feel tired and unproductive the next day. Lastly, it reduces the time I could spend on more meaningful activities, such as learning a new skill or spending quality time with my family.
